Falling Walls Lab Turku winners

On June 14 the Universty of Turku and the Åbo Akademi universty hosted the third Falling Walls Lab Turku at the Sibelius Museum.

17 participants pitched their innovative ideas in front of a renowned jury. The presentations dealt with various topics from different fields, indluding medicine, future studies, education and marketing.

The winner of the Turku Lab qualified for the Falling Walls Lab Finale which takes place in Berlin on 8 November 2016.

Second place: Julia Kulkova (TraceRay Oy/University of Turku): BREAKING THE WALL OF CONSERVATISM IN VETERINARY ORTHOPAEDICS

Third place: Miika Hyytiäinen (University of Arts, Helsinki/Sibelius Academy):  BREAKING THE WALL OF SINGER JARGON

Master of ceremony of the Turku Lab was Topi Lehtipuu, a Paris-based Finnish opera singer.
